How do I disable the Distronic feature on my CL?

in my '12, you can disable the distronic plus feature by shutting down the radar sensors. go to 'settings' using the steering wheel buttons and scroll over to 'radar sensors' and shut off from there. note well - shutting down the radar sensors will shut off other functions as well - like bas plus, pre-safe braking, active blind spot, etc.

May I ask, why would you wanna do it?

Is it the interference with your anti radar device?

when i turn off the radars i lose cruise control all together. i hate that.
