22" Wheels on a W216 4Matic
Would putting larger aftermarket rims on a 4matic be an issue?
I know that all wheel drive cars have a specific size tolerance, wondering if its the same with a 4matic CL550?

No issues as long as you keep the overall wheel + tire diameter same as stock (for speedo accuracy). You may also run a staggered setup with no worries.
