CL 550
CL-550 sunroof issues.
Just wanted to know if anyone has a sunroof frame for a cl-550. The dealer told me my frame is cracked and they want 3k for part and installation...I'm in the NYC area. If anyone has any ideas or help plz help me out. I'm new to the forum and need assistance quick.
Also, I have a friend who has the same CL, he explained to me he had the same problem with his sunroof and he brought a used S-550 sunroof frame and replaced his damaged CL sunroof frame with it. He said he has had no issues since replacing it. Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of others doing it because I went to Mercedes and requested a print out of both dimensions n the part numbers differ by 2 numbers ( S-550 780-04-29/ CL-550 780-02-29)
