Attention assist, ESP and pre-brake icons
The icon indicated by a coffee cup showing waves of heat coming out of it.....
The best I can interpret in the manual is this is an attention assist icon. It conveys you may be sleepy, as your vehicle is "wandering". On my car, this icon is always visible and showing in the panel, immediately to the left of about the 10 mph indicator. It never used to be permanently on, to my memory. To me, if it's to be an indicator of fatigue, always being shown negates its value and minimizes its impact.
Would readers pls. share what icon(s) show when driving? Mainly those dealing w/ safety etc., like the pre-safe braking, the ESP etc. usually to the left of the speedometer.
The SA says this is how things are. I contend always on says something's wrong w/ the software. I won't push him 'till I get some feedback here. All help is appreciated. Thank you.

I got a pm and got my answers. The attention assist coffee is the constant icon, if that is enabled. It has a red dot in the middle, if there's a problem or that safety function needs attention. The rest I got. Thanks.
