Hey everyone; I'm new to the CL Class as I have owned S-Classes.
I just purchased a 2014 CL 550 and it starts with the key (fob) inserted in the dash slot. Can this be converted to "KeylessGo"?
With my S 550's they all had "keyless Go" and I'm so use to this now that I can't do without this option.

My CL600 is keyless go and it's a 2008 year model. I'm sure yours have the same option regardless if it's a base model or not. Maybe the knob that covers the key insert is missing?

I've seen the push buttons advertised online and they are pretty reasonable. I guess if I go to the dealer and have them check my VIN they could tell me straight away.
I hear that if your car didn't come from the factory with that option converting is impossible...

Keyless Go was an option. One way to tell is if you can open a locked vehicle door without touching the key fop by simply pulling on the door handle. If it unlocks, your vehicle has the feature and get an ignition push button from a dealer. It is almost impossible to retrofit this option.

I called the dealer and gave them my VIN i was told that "Keyless Go" was standard equipment on all CL's that year. I've ordered the push button.
