When stopped at a light, my car seems to start to idle very high. I have had it in the shop for three weeks and they cannot figure it out. The brake pedal gets very "hard" to step on. They say it seems like there is a vacuum leak, but there is not. The only comparison they had for this was something that occurs in a race car????

Any suggestions? Mercedes does not have a clue.
