Hi, I recently bought a 2008 CL550 with full MB service history etc etc... Very happy with the car but the CEL sometimes comes on - no symptoms of any problems with the engine, such as bad idling etc... It was intermittent but the past couple of days, the CEL has stayed on. Was wondering if anyone had such similar probs?

Without knowing what codes your engine is throwing the light on for, we are really unable to help you out. Find someone or somewhere to scan the vehicle faults and then start searching for comparison issues. Could be anything at this point.

The code that came up was 0064 - something about the cam shaft magnet or something? However, it really is super temperamental and the CEL is now off....
