*GASP* tow hitch?

*GASP* tow hitch?
Before you ask, I'm not planning on towing a 20ft camper.
There's a nice looking CL550 4MATIC nearby that I'm considering to serve my ten-hour-a-week commuting needs. I'd like to be able to bring a non-folding bike along to hit the trails near the office after work. I already own a really nice receiver-style bike rack, and after using it over the hook-on trunk racks, I never want to go back. I don't want to worry about my paint, worry about the straps, deal with it wriggling and bouncing everywhere, and not have a solid, affirmative locking solution.
A little Googling didn't find anything, but U-Haul shows a fitment. If it matters, I'd be doing the install myself.
Anyone have experience with the U-Haul hitch, or something similar?

Given that this a limited production vehicle, it is unlikely that you will find that anyone has installed a tow hitch. I would not trust U-Haul unless they can provide references to several previous installations. Per the owners manual for your proposed vehicle, Mercedes does not recommend installation of a trailer hitch.

If you go to uhaul.com and enter your vehicle details, you'll find it. I requested the install sheet. The photos don't match the instructions, and are really too low in resolution to learn much without the car right in front of you. The sheet also notes that the hitch is not for towing, is for bike rack only, with a weight rating of 100 lbs. To me, that means two bikes, unless they're really light or kid's bikes. Probably ok for a 2 door anyhow.
