w216: CL63 mufflers on a CL600?

Hello Friends.

It's my first post here, It's even the first post in my life.
Please tell me if I forgot something or if I do something incorrect.

I have been reading Mbworld for long already, thanks to all the members.
A lot of knowledge here, it fixed a lot of my issues, and saved me a lot of money.

I have two w216 and it's a big problem...

One is a CL500 (550) with AMG Package , 20's AMG wheel. and the rare AMG quadruple tips exhaust designed for the 500 only.(looks like the double CL63 muffler but smaller tubes).
The other is a classy stock CL600.

I say that I prefer the 600, but in reality I always miss my AMG package that I have on the 500, However I am sure that in the future I would love have kept my 600 stock.
But we are not in the future and let have some fun.

So my plan is to transfer the AMG front and rear bumpers from the 500 to the 600.
Only problem are the exhaust, the 500 AMG bumper and rear diffuseur is designed for quadruple exhaust ,it the same diffuser as the CL63,

I would like to put then quad exhaust for the 600. (I like the look, and not against a bit more sound, just a bit)
I checked after market brand, but I wish to keep it MB.
I tried to find CL65 Mufflers but not easy.
However I found a lot of used CL63 mufflers for low price.

My questions are:
Can I adapt CL63 muffler on a CL600, what are the diameter of CL63 inlet tubes? (If same diameter what is the way,?)
Are the C63 AND CL63 muffler the same , I remember some said yes, but checking picture on the net and now it is not clear.
Am I going to restrict the flow or instead loose back pressure? want to keep the same torque and power band from the engine.

Thanks guy if you have some answer on this.
My best regards

Hi there! Why not just replace the mufflers on the CL that you want to vs cannibalizing them from your other car?

Thanks Legendary for your answer.
Actually I didn't understand clearly at first.
I put my AMG package on the 600, and I just bought a standard diffusor for my normal dual exhaust.
But if I want the quad output you recommend me to take those from the 500 right?
The 500 inlet are smaller, 55mm VS 65mm on the 600. Outlet is however equivalent.
I think I can adapt the 500 muffler by welding them at the base. The inlet is conical and at some point it car be 65mm.
However what is inside a muffler? Are the 500 and 600 same inside the mufflers? I have no Idea.
I don't want to restrict the flow.
