Hazard Lights not working
I've got an issue with my hazard lights not working. Blinkers work just fine but when I hit the hazard button nothing happens at all. I don't believe there is a fuse for this, any other ideas?

correct, there is no fuse for this. the console switch needs to be replaced. this happened to me over the summer. part number for my cl was a2218707058. do not buy this part from the dealership as its $800. i got mine on ebay for $170..once you get the part i can walk you through installing it. it is very easy. be sure to match the ride selection button to the original one on your car.

Also, with your experience do you think this is something that is fixable? Maybe cleaning connections? Or are these just done and garbage when buttons stop working?

unfortunately the effort that would be required to repair this would not be worth it, but fear not. this is a very inexpensive and accessible part..please keep your eye on ebay for one, without a doubt you should be able to find the one you need for under $200..i had mine out and replaced in about 30 minutes when the part came in.

open your center armrest and pull up on that small leather molding that wraps around the comand knob, underneath are a couple of torx screws. take those out and the whole console should come out. theres a plug that needs to be disconnected, not too difficult.

Hey so I bought a replacement switch and I'm trying to remove the old one, can't figure out how to access the place where the plugs connect. There's a black piece of plastic blocking that area and can't figure out how to get it out to unplug the switch and plug in the new one. Any help?

So I actually got the used part for $66 shipped. I might be able to sell my "broken" one for more than that. The hazard lights started working again but the rear headrests still aren't moving which I've figured out is because of a leak in the line somewhere under the driver's seat. I'm trying to figure out how to access that to fix the leak. Also in about a week or so I'll be helping to part out an '10 Black S600 so let me know if you're looking for any parts.

Hey Guys,
I have a 2006 R500 and the hazards stopped working but along with them the windshield wipers and turn signals also stopped. It's been a little bit and they all come back on together intermittently .I don't think it's the hazard switch alone but i'm open to any ideas. thanks

Had to stop short and my Hazzard lights stayed on
I thought and was told it was the switch, so I changed it. The lights went off, then went back on. I brought it to a certified MB shop who ran the diagnostics and it said the switch was bad. I changed it again and am still having the same issues, any ideas?
