I'm sure I'm asking a very basic question but I wasn't able to find an answer specifically for a W221/C216 CL600 so I rather be cautious.
I turned on the car this morning and a message saying "coolant, please refill - see oper. manual" came on. I shut it off and walk away.Tonight I checked the manual and checked the level and I think it's pretty low, there's a picture below just to double check. Assuming I have to top it off which coolant already mixed can I buy from an Autozone or similar place? I don't think it shows in the picture, but the blue coolant has some black particles at the botton of the reservoir, is that something to address or just normal?
One thing to look for is dried coolant on your garage floor. I had coolant seeping from the o-rings on the bottom of the radiator. These are connected to the tubes from the transmission. I had this problem after taking the car from storage.
BTW, you can buy FEBI antifreeze concentrate from NAPA or on-line from FCP Euro for about $13 for a 1.5-liter bottle. You'll have to mix it with distilled water.

Let me add I had a crack in the radiator between the inlet and outlet ports. One guy mentioned radiators are $120 but forgot to mention it takes 7 hours to replace the radiator. I chose to have a local dealer replace it so total cost with an OEM radiator was $2300. I used to build race engines and I took one look and decided that removing half of the front end wasn't my forte.
