Steering Wheel Up/Down Adjustment Not Working

Unhappy Steering Wheel Up/Down Adjustment Not Working
My 2007 CL550 steering wheel stopped going up and down when trying to adjust it. I can still move it in and out, but it stopped going up and down. Has this happened to anyone else yet?

It's making a "clunk" sound and is sticking again.
can anyone help with this?

very common
or you have this part to replace




or your normalizing is gone and in order to normalise again you need Xentry and its hardware

Just bought a 2011 CL63 and yes my steering wheel has this exact same issue.
