Have an extra adapter
I got my w216 earlier this year and accidentally bought two Bluetooth adapters for the glove compartment. The stock connection only works for calls and not music. DM if interested.

Your COMAND will accept AUX input via a connector in your glovebox. You can find a Bluetooth receiver that will plug in there ... Amazon, probably.
in 2009 the iPhone 3 was current and it didn’t broadcast music via Bluetooth. As noted the car was capable of connecting phone calls via Bluetooth ... I’m unsure when it changed but my 2010 doesn’t require the “puck” mentioned. If yours has a connector in the top part of center console, yours does.

Interested for sure. I know it will work hands free for phone, but will it also play my music through the phone? I know it seems like a silly question but have to make sure. If so i will buy from you immediately.

Again, in 2009 nothing transmitted music via Bluetooth and therefore the car did not have the ability to receive it.
