Differential Fluid Change
I successfully changed my differential fluid yesterday. For those who may be thinking about doing this, I learned a couple things I thought I'd share. First, MB has apparently dropped the 85w90 fluid in favor of 75w85. I was not able to locate the original owner's manual suggested weight, so ended up buying 75w85 from a dealer. Second, it is hard to get a tool in the top 14mm hex bolt. After buying a couple tools which failed to fit in a tight area, I bought a tool on Amazon that worked great (link below). The tool feels cheap, and I was unsure it would last the job, but it held up fine. Finally, I was not able to get a torque wrench on it for the reason described above...I just cranked on it as hard as I could, so think/hope it is secure.
