I’m putting on a set of the new 21” AMG wheels

I’’m buying a set of 2023 AMG S Class 21’ wheels and putting that factory set up on my 2012 CL550, that I just bought. Will they look stupid like all these cars I’ve seen with 21” wheels??? I ask because my set up will be exactly the correct width and offset, so the only thing that will change will be the wheel size. Will they look correct or ridiculous? I want it to look as nice as it looks on the S580 AMG sport line. will they be flush with the fenders or stick out??

The difference between a 20" and 21" wheel is negligible in my opinion. Assuming the offset is correct, I personally think it will look good. Are you planning on lowering the car? Mine is lowered on 20's and it looks good. I didn't go with 21" because tires can be hard to find. Post pics when you finish the setup!

When I purchased my 2012 CL 63 it had 22 inch Giannelli wheels on it. I thought I would immediately replace the wheels back to factory stock, but they have grown on me and honestly my kids I think would disown me if I got rid of the wheels . The 22 inch wheels are on the borderline of being extreme and looking odd, but my opinion is the 21 inch wheels will look absolutely factory perfect. Look forward to a pic with the new wheels

No, I would never change the ride height. I prefer them sitting higher than lower. The offset is whatever MB designed. They are factory wheels and tires after all. I would never do aftermarket anything on any of my cars, it’s a Virgo personality disorder 😂

Post pics! I would love to see them. I’m running 21 as well and love it. I was crack my 22 so often decided to downsize and no issues so far. I’m running 255/35f and 285/30 with about a 1-1.5in drop.

I went the opposite way and put on factory 18 inch wheels. I prefer the softer ride and tire options.

Finally found a set of factory forged AMG wheels !

As mentioned above, I purchased my CL 63 with 22 inch wheels on it. Had nothing but trouble with them! Finally picked up a set of factory forged AMG wheels and could not be happier!
