I know, I know. Parts from M-B
No need to remind me, but please accept I'm not as bright as I think I am.
Usual Central London problem of trying to force oncoming 4x4s to move over (and usually winning except against mums on the school run).
I blinked first and clipped parked car's wing mirror with mine. (Not the first time BTW.)
By some miracle only the mirror glass shattered and popped out onto road (housing unscathed).
Straight on to e-Bay for lookie-likie but have to admit I didn't know which was replacement for current W216 (just bought).
Almost the last remaining M-B in Central London nearby so went straight there.
Yup, £92 for the mirror only (£15-40 on eBay).
But, in my defence it was urgent and I knew I could persuade a bored mechanic to pop it on for me.
Can I just retype £92 unfitted so I can scream again
