Seems like I saw an old review that indicated that you could add a USB pigtail to the 2011+ version of the CL.
Can someone confirm this is true for US cars? And if true, is it standard or available on all variants (550, 600, 63, and 65)?
I want to be able to listen to audio books stored on a thumb drive. Any have experience playing audio from a thumb drive connected to a CL?

Have you thought about using a bluetooth device instead, and just using your phone as the source? This is what I have in my car...

Does that Bluetooth receiver allow you to control play/pause/etc. from the infotainment screen or do you need to control playback on your phone?
And does your have a USB socket?

I control from my phone, watch, or play/pause button on the bluetooth device. Mine has AUX connectors, but if you have USB you should find a similar device to connect your system. Or, you could get fancy and install one of these...https://www.joyeauto.com/category/wi...play-solution/
