Questions about ABC suspension fluid. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm about to change the ABC oil in my CL550 C216, and I have a question: Febi 06161 (which doesn't meet Mercedes' specifications, but does meet Pentosin's) or Febi 21647? I think Febi 06161 might work; it's suspension oil, but it doesn't have the 345.1 approval. However, it's a substitute for Pentosin CHF11S. What do you think? Can you help me? Thanks!

I wouldn't mess around with an oil that doesn't meet the 345 spec. Might be fine, but the stakes are too high for ruining part of your system. If you want to keep cost down, I've been using Beck Arnley fluid that does meet the 345 spec...https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=11395&jsn=200

Thanks for your reply. I've been researching, and Febi 06161 is identical to Pentosin CHF11S, which is the one recommended by Mercedes. Mercedes didn't approve Febi for 06161 (or Febi didn't pay the price for Mercedes approval), but they did approve Pentosin. I'm not looking to save money, just alternatives. For example, I use Ravenol engine oil instead of Mercedes. Cheers!
