Is it hard to believe that a 19 year old kid has a cl65?

Lol all those pics he posted are all fake, I googled CL65 AMG and those 5 pictures popped up... I honestly dont see why a 19 year old would actually have time to post his cars and show it off on a forum. Much rather like me I rather go cruise off and chill instead of that. Thats for my 2 cents

So I just happened to stumble upon this thread right now. To answer mashimaro1985's question "is it hard to believe that a 19 year old has a cl65?" my answer is: it's very possible. First off, I don't want to start any flame wars or anything of the sort, let me PLEASE make that clear. Second, I'm no where near the financial realm of mashimaro or some of the other members of this forum. What I will say is that as a junior at USC (Southern California, not South Carolina just to be clear), I would say that a fair number of the student body has relatively nice cars. M3s are by far the most common, followed by C55s and S4s/RS4s. "But those are $75k cars, not $180k or so" Of course, the price point is slightly different, but let's see the people I've ran into on campus.
1) Another junior who's from Hong Kong. Her parents wanted to get her an E class in HK, which costs $150k. When she came here, she took that $150k and bought a Gallardo. Easy enough
2) A guy (year I'm not sure of), but he was dropped off in campus with a Maybach 57s. Was in a geology class with my roommate.
3) A girl, I think she's also a junior or senior, and she drives an SL65, black on black. Real nice. Stood out when she dropped the top right in front of the gym (plus she was pretty cute). Anyway, I've seen it parked next to one of the dorms here, so I know it's a student.
Well, there you have it. Three examples of how Mashimaro isn't quite alone. I'm not going to say "don't mind the flamers" or "everyone's just hatin' on your money". No, I'm just going to simply say that, Mashimaro, you're very lucky (blessed, etc..) and you should be quite grateful/thankful to your parents for going through with the purchase. I myself wouldn't mind driving a CL65 at all, but I think I would rather drive the new C63. Just a thought (This is where reality smacks me in the face and says FINISH COLLEGE!)

No one is hating on him, just he didnt give any proof. Well he did but the pictures he posted where off Google.com.
If he's still alive then maybe he can retake the pictures with a paper posting MBWorld Mashmiro

2004 CL55
So I'm new to the board and I can't believe how much time I wasted trying to figure out what the hell is going on in this thread. For the record, just put 305s on the back (20 inch Brabus monoblock VI) on a 2004 CL55 (dropped an inch) without rubbing. It hooks up so well at launch now, unbelievable.

2004 CL55
Brabus Monoblock VI, 10.5 inch wide in back, with 305/25s. Just a little rubbing on the hardest freeway bumps at first, and only at speed. Now doesn't seem to rub anymore at all, maybe some little plastic seam that was asking for it got rubbed away to nothing? Real question though, I can't get the stock wheels sensors to fit through the Brabus wheels, do I need an extender or a all new sensors?

Very nice ride don't mes it up. As a parent I would be a little afraid to trust my 19 year old son in that car based only on the hp that she puts out. Face it most young men and women drive like a bat out of hell with no regard to others on the interstate. Now that I think of it so do some adults, LOL. Enjoy it and don't forget to uphold the greatest amount of respect for your parents. You were blessed by GOD no doubt.
