Under-developed market. Lack of trained personel. High demand.

I see a great opportunity for a stateside mb mech to make a killing by starting a shop over there.

JTC - James pretty much covered the SL question in post 11, citing the smaller size as being an issue in not getting ans SL, etc.

James - It's over a week old and I'm SURE you are out of the break-in period ! Talk to me ! Just how bad is that supercar CL ????

Brabus lol! I am only 24 mate, how am i going to adopt you? My wife is 23 though. rofl. You thought I'm some 40ish old dude like ricky agrawal?

Nah, the car is still around 1150km as of now. I have 350 to go. You must understand I need to drive my other cars as well. lol I still have a Lexus LX470 that i actually use for work. Not this car. I will try my best to get a video when I reach 1500km with a rush to 300km/h :v :v :v

Sovietbenz, I am in a family business only. Nothing big or flashy. We mainly deal in some shipping and wood business.

You know mate, I have a crazy urge to know how fast it really is. 350km to go, no much but seems ironically a long way as well. Perhaps I should do a interstate drive to get it much easier lol

I broke her loose to 4500rpm with half throttle yesterday. Its really fast! Went all the way up to 240km/h with no sweat. I didn't even know i was at 240km/h! It felt like just a moment and i must say at that speed, the car is ultimately stable as if you're only travelling 120km/h. I never thought a car could be so stable at such high speed, which lead to me believe i was only driving around 160km/h. This car can be deceving from inside, if you are really not careful, you can really kill yourself by hitting into a truck or bus or you name it.

I really wonder what a full throttle to 6000rpm will do. Hmmn.. and yet i am comtemplating a 737hp/1300nm Kleeman ecu upgrade already. Now I really can tell why Ben Treynor brought is Renntech SL65 to drag strips. The rush of g forces is pure enjoyment over and over again and imagine it is all bone stock with a minor ECU reprogramming thats as easy as your computer plug and play programs. Soon after break in, i will bring my car to a local makeshift dragshift. Its a redundant and abandone airfield owned by the Shell corporation 20 years back. Will try to get a 1/4 mile run out of it. I am hoping to touch or break the 11.8 second timing claimed by Motortrend. If I can reach that, I am pretty sure with 18 slicks and kleeman upgrade, i will reach 11seconds.

I once posted I won't touch a CL65 for what it already is a monster beast. But now knowing how much it is already doing, the :v inside you know? You really wish and curious to know how much more it can push out of that enjine! I was told this enjine could do in the region of 800hp. Now with LSD programs and so forth, I was hoping to bring the car up to crazy level ****. I'm getting older by the day and if now is not the time to do some crazy ****, i'm afraid i'll regret it in future. I love fun. You guys support me? lol

No we dont chop trees, we are in processed wood. We buy chopped trees lol. You have any logs to sell?

Nah, if it is a US180,000 car i will consider flooring it but with over US300,000 price tag i pay for here, not taking chances, who knows i might have to sell it someday and already stuff it up? lol

what's the point of driving such nice vehicle in a country where 99.99% of the population is driving a scooter or a 10-year-old pickup truck and when you can impress 99.99% of women in your country with a civic?

I mean driving such nice vehicle is for your own pleasure (comfort, speed etc), but part of the reason is the pride and ego. I would feel pity of driving a CL65 while no one has any idea what it is.

high demand?? maybe not....not many ppl can afford mercedes...due to the crazy taxes.....therefore, they are not really eager to spend another fortune tuning the car...my friends were stunned when i told them ppl spend 5k usd on rims.......5k= 20k malaysia dollar....you can buy a crappy malaysia car for about 28k

WTF is that suppose to mean? Are you pure ignorant or what? I take that comment as an insult to all Malaysians and that is 28 million of them. Our pickup range are 2nd to only the states. We have one of the highest pickup sales in the world. 10 year old pickup? More like 1 to 3 year old pickups. And 99.99% of the population drives scooter? What do you think we are? North Africa? Not even Africa is as appalling as that. and YES i take your comment very literally. Dont post here if you are going to act as an idiot who has not idea what he's posting about. Better stop posting else make a fool out of yourself.

I hate people insulting my nation. Malaysian made proton perhaps are lesser model compared to Merc but thats no reason for you to make a mockery out of us. 80% of Malaysian family has a car! Now shut up.

Nice selection. It must be really difficult in the morning trying to decide which car to take. I am sure a few of our fellow MB fans would love to have your dilema let alone any one of your rides. Enjoy man! Btw, where in Malaysia would you take them for a rip? The streets would seem pretty dangerous in a highly populated country.

Rubensan i love your car colour as well. They are very similar to Xeon's orion blue. Is that C Couple the brabus K3 you're mentioning? I would love to know it's power at stage 3!

Thank pinoy! Dont bother driving fast in the city areas, its dangerous as hell and some of those guys here drive as if theres no laws. Lane changes, turns in or turns out all without signals. Well thats Malaysia, get used to it. I normally let the cars rip on a stretch of suburban industrial road to where i work (i am in manufacturing business). My one way travel to work is 33km and back 33km. And on one stretch, there's a just completed highway of 2 years which has really low traffic. Around 17km of them are total straight with very wide turns which you can do 180km/h turns easily. I grin everytime i reach that road, its a lovely road. And that road though is speed limited to 130 to 140km/h. Practically nobody cares, and you can go as fast as autobahn limit if there's no car.

They are many illegal racings sometimes on this road at night because of the long stretch and secludedness.

On another hand, I often bring my wife back to her hometown which is about 250km from where i live. Not too far but just right for a day or couple's stay to visit her parents. And there's a stretch of perfect straight for 50km as well. Surprise there's such long straights in malaysia huh?
