I noticed the OP is in So CA. With a car like that and no place to appreciate the power and go fast due to all the traffic, I guess there is no use for over 700 ft.lb/t.

A 2003 Rentechh'd CL600 is worth about $75.
A 2005 CL65 is worth about $150.

Given they look pretty much identical and the former has the same or better power and a nicer interior, I wonder how long the prices will hold on CL65s?

Not long I hope, because if I miss my CL600 after the lease is up, I smell a cheap CL65 in my future :-)

davepl, I think you got a steal on your 03 CL600, I have not seen any for around 75K that are in good shape anyway. Realisticaly I think the figure is closer to 85K if its optioned out and low milage. I agree with your comments, although the rennetch'ed motor is working a little overtime to produce that power. Believe me..... its easier for the 65 to produce that power. Its just a bigger engine. I do agree CL65's will drop fast..... its a total sleeper car. One of the reasons I chose to buy a CL600 is because it is such a bargain used. It depreciates a lot. A CL65 will drop hard too I am sure... that may be my next purchase as well. Once the new body style is out you will be able to get CL65's cheap I am sure.

I paid $140,000 for mine, but that was new :-)

Checking eBay, they don't seem to be going until they're under $80K now. The 55s, for all the talk of them holding their value better than 600s, are also under $80K.

yeah I am really curious... how much did you lose? I know its probably quite a bit, it would be good to know how much of a hit one has to take in a situation like that.

I really like the CL55, but I like the 600 motor better. Its just got more potential and power, with a $6000 ECU upgrade it produces more power than a good $15,000 in upgrades on the 55 engine. Turbochargers are more effecient than superchargers, but the 55 has it in terms of looks, suspension, brakes. The best of course is the 65 where you get the best of all, but that price is way out there.

I doubt you are on the title of the car, so how can you sign over the title without your parents knowing? They didn't put you as the title...

umm if they have power of attorney, they can sell the car without them being there.

I have had the CL65 for 8months I got it for 182,000.00 benz is taking it for 140,000.00 I think only has 2500 miles on it not much at all.

I sold the c55 which I had for 3 months, currently selling the g wagon I believe it is sold someone might have taken it without the brabus rims he just wants the stock onez.

well I got cheated on alot of times with car deals just currently I am getting rid of the onez I got ripped off for and the new ones that I have gotten for the example the cls55 I got a good deal for it.

Learning from mistakes ( car brokes are *******s ) never trust them.........

Uhhh.. What are you talking about? RIPPED OFF? CHEATED? It's supposedly your parents MONEY! You didn't EARN A DIME OF IT.. And from the sounds of it your parents give you crazy amounts of money to spend like it's water....Don't get me wrong if there dishing it out, I'd take it to if I were you, But don't go on complaining about being CHEATED and RIPPED OFF...You don't even have a clue what it's like to be cheated, or ripped off when you actually work and earn the money yourself...Your pretty funny a 19 year old w/close to a Million dollars in Mercedes complaining about getting ripped off..Ahhhhh poor baby....

that makes SO much sense.....selling all your cars at a huge loss....because you got ripped off when you originally bought them. um, okay.
