HELP!!! MB parts list?
Guys I purchased a complete set of brakes (calipers and rotors) from someone on the forum here that owned an SL55. I bought them with his assurance that they would fit. But, they do not. The bolt holes in the calipers do not line up with the ones in the spindle, or "knuckle".... does anyone know if the CL55 has different spindles than the CL600, or if the SL's is alltogether different? is this crazy what I am trying to do? Can anyone shed any light?

I am very sure that the CL600 brakes are entirely different from the CL55 kind. So how would it be possible that the brake and rotors fit to the standard CL600 brakes?
If I am not wrong CL55 is on 8 piston calipers where CL600 is on 4 piston calipers. I might be wrong but I am very sure they are different.
Now whether SL55 pad/rotors will fit on CL55 calipers is another entirely different story again.
You better return them if u have no use for them, unless u have a SL55 in plan? hehe

Thanks James but they may actually fit... I am still checking into it... yes they are very different, the rotors are bigger and the calipers are 8 piston not 4. Seems I am the first one trying a lot of things on this car, so I will post all info for another person that might need to know. I did get the eisenmann exhaust on, and it looks GOOD. Did have to do some little tricks to make it fit. Check out the link onn the regular CL forum.
