Two questions for you guys

Hey, We are gearing up for a nother new england weather. Is it worth it to get Snow tires and rims, or will just snow tires and stockers be fine.

Also has anyone smoked the inside of the tail lights? similar to how the SL55 has it?

Thanx
Eddie

My car has never seen snow so I don't know for sure, but I don't think a rear drive car with a wide tire like that will be too good, and if you plan on driving in NE and its your primary car, then I recommend you get a set of snows.

Go for a smaller set of rims too. Snow isin't the only problem, potholes are too.

I had my CLK done that way (smoked just the white/reverse portion), but they were sprayed on the outside of the tail lights.

if you don't want to kill your rims in the crate holes around here, get a dedicated set of snow tires + wheels.
