trunk suck no work?
Hey guys/gals....
I picked up my CL55 a few weeks ago...and noticed today that when I close the trunk...it doesn't suck the trunk lid down. I am assuming that it is suppose to...like my SL.
Is it me or is there something up with the trunk?

I have an '03 CL55 w/o the automatic trunk closure. I bought the car new from Mercedes. The feature that "sucks" the trunk completely closed, like the doors, comes standard on the car.
I think something may be wrong with yours.

So is the auto trunk closure option a differnt feature from the sealing function? Sounds like I stand corrected...guess I had the two confused.
What exactly is the auto close feature? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but just trying to figure out if I have the option of not. Owned the car less than a year and have yet to figure out half the features...I know the accelarator and brakes work real well...

auto function is when the trunk opens all the way on its own and also closes all the way with the push of a button, the "soft closure" is when you touch the door or boot down or in and it just holds it and squeezies it shut properly!
