I found an '04 cl55 in absolutely impeccable condition, 28k miles, The only issue is it was a mnfgr buyback for cell phone and tire pressure monitor issues. MB has since fixed the issue, and re -certified it to its original warranty(not to 100k). I can pick it up for 65k. It came from california, not texas BTW.

Just know 2 things. A used car dealer always has some story as to why a car was a buyback. Verify it yourself. It could be something a lot more serious. second, its a blemish on the car's record and will always somewhat affect its resale value. Otherwise, it sounds like a great deal.

thanks for your input, but I've decided against it. I'll be keeping my current CL for a while--(not that that's a BAD thing)
