2001 CL55AMG

Wheels

I've received conflicting opinions and need advise from the experts...

Will CL500 wheels fit a 2001 CL55AMG?
I currently have 20' aftermarket wheels and am looking to get just a little more sidewall on the tires and factory offsets from 19' MB wheels. Looking around and don't find too many AMG wheels selling for the 55/65 and wondered if the 500/600 wheels will fit correctly.

Absolutely shouldn't be any problem at all....the car is basically the same, beside all the AMG stuffs.

Just wasn't sure if there was any difference in the AMG caliper/rotor size that would cause them not to fit properly.

Listen, that is a good point, I did not think you may possibly be talking about the 17" wheels. In that case, I will take back what I said as the wheel may fit perfectly but if its the 17" model (non AMG) it may not clear the rotors. It definitely will not on an 03+ 55, on an 01 I am not really sure. So I should have been more clear on that... sorry... hope its not too late.
