Damn...

The CL55 cabin is still intact... it shouldn't have killed the MB occupants... internal injuries? As for the limo driver, yeah, you could see that the cabin got pinched

Hope it's not a member of this forum....

accident
3:15 in the am on a saturday, 469 hp car on a relatively "open" road, three friends out late...obviously nothing good could come from that. I hope this was not a driver fault on either side, hard to fiigure mechanical failure of two relatively new vehicles, im sure someone's fatigue played a role.

I agree.....the CL looks pretty good for that kind of crash. Maybe they didn't have their seatbelts on? I could see some injuries but I wouldn't expect them to be dead. The limo driver I could see dead!

Seat belt use
That response begs another question. Does anyone routinely NOT wear a seat belt when driving their high powered car? Seems second nature to me and I enforce it for passengers.

I am opening myself up for body shots here but I don't wear a seatbelt for the very reason it is uncomfortable. But after seeing those pics and other such related material, I'll put it on...
