highway driving in cl55

highway driving in cl55
hi guys, I am looking to purchase an 05 cl55, I spend most of my time in high ways, how is the cabin noise levels on speeds around 70 or 80 miles, since this is a major downside to my clk.

I have a 2004 CL55 and my favorite aspect of the car is highway driving.
The car is very very quiet. Even at speeds above the range you reference. You will not be disappointed at all in the car for a highway cruiser. Quiet, fast, and comfortable. Just amazing for this purpose!

how loud is the stock cl55 exhaust? is it sporty? how does it sound when your jumping on it on the highway? because with my eisenmann you can hear it inside the cabin when you want to make it loud...

The stock exhaust on the CL55 is louder than my E55. RayJ (on this forum) always comments when he rides in my CL55 (he has an E55) about how the exhaust sounds aftermarket in my car and much meaner. At highway cruising speeds you don't hear it at all. Again, my CL55 is quieter at highway speeds than my E55. When you floor it though, the sound is awesome inside and out.
I would guess the eisenmann is obviously louder. Regardless, when I go WOT my wife says she can he me coming from a couple of blocks away.
