CL600 Stg. 2 Package & Custom LSD
Hi guys,
Just finished a 2003 cl600 bi-turbo with Renntech Stg. 2 package, Wald D21F forged wheels, Carlsson lowering module, and a custom LSD. The car simply flies. We will soon upgrade the brakes with Brembo GT kits to handle the new power. These limited edition Wald D21F forged wheels has reduced some unsprung weight to enhance the handling. Contact us for more details and availability.

cl600 Renntech Stg. 2 Upgrade
Customer is out of the country right now but I'll post the dyno sheet once he returns. Renntech states 15hp/30lb-ft. increase to the crank. I noticed more midrange & top end power when the car was pushed. You can also here the intake under hard acceleration.

I did stage one but I just can't see spending the extra cash for an additional 15 hp at the crank. After stage I, in my opinion, it's better to save the stage II money for a CL65. I'd probably pay around $1,500 for the air box but not what they are asking now. The dollar/hp for stage II does not calculate favorably.

Are we talking about the same car? CL600 bi-turbo 5.5 litre.
I did a Renntech ECU upgrade on my bi-turbo CL600 and gained about 130hp (to 625hp) and 150TQ (to 750ish) . Since he did Stage 2, then the gain is more like 150hp, which would be 110-120 to the wheels.

No, I didn't dyno the car because I don't really care enough to check it. I'm not a fanatic about having the most HP or the fastest car. Dynoing the car for me is not important. I trust Renntech's claims of 132hp gain from the tune, because I do feel a "night-and-day" difference after I did the upgrade.
The car stock had 493hp and 590tq, so Renntech's estimates seem accurate to me. The car is a 4500lb rocket that is almost as fast as my friends C6 Z06. My car is nearly neck and neck to his from 30-40mph up to about 100 or so. He beats me by about 1 car length from 0-100/110.

I wish you were local, I'd love to feel a modded 600.
I don't think that my 55 with a pulley can keep up with a stock 600, never mind one with an extra 100+ hp.

'03 G500, '13 G63, '17 GLS63,
The car looks great! Those wheels remind me of an older Lorinser style, but updated with a fat lip. Way better than anything Lorinser has out today.
Please elaborate on the "custom LSD"...
