Replacing Fog Light...

My driver's side foglight housing is cracked. I was wondering if anyone knows of the easiest way to change it out. Do I need to take the plastic pan underneath out, or do I take the grill around the front of the foglight out?

Think I read a previous post that the bumber had to be removed to change the bulbs. Seemed extreme to me so I am curious how you make out.

I swapped out my factory 9006 bulbs for some piaa 8000k's and the bumper had to come off. It sucked but that was the only way- removing the pan wont do the trick.

Damn, I wonder why MB made it so hard to replace something so simple as a fog light bulb.

You just answered your own question ... Mercedes- they never make it easy do they..

Actually on my E55 its quite easy to change them- the CL's are the problem child when it comes to fog lights and with the 65 its a pain to change the city lights too.
