Mercedes Emblem
Forgive me that I don't know what the correct term is for the classic
Mercedes emblem at the nose of the car that sticks up?
As we all probably know, the CL's mercedes emblem in not the "classic" type but a flat one. My question is this: does anyone know of, or know how to retrofit a classic mercedes emblem onto the nose/hood of a CL?
I don't know, but I always liked the feeling of seeing that emblem when driving a benz. I had my CL in the shop the other day for a "Service B" and they gave me a little c230 or whatever they are as a loaner and I really enjoyed seeing that emblem sticking up from the hood. Silly I know, and you can make fun of me now....
Anyone know of any way to do this?

Yes, exactly. The Mercedes hood ornament. Is that what you call it maybe, the "ornament"? Anyway, you know, the one that is sitting vertical at the tip of the hood. The one you can see while driving at the front/nose of the car.
Do you know of a way to retrofit one onto a CL55 amg hood replacing the flat emblem that comes from the factory?

I was referring to the hood ornament though, not the emblem. I want to put the classic mercedes hood ornament on my CL to replace the little, flat emblem that comes on the hood normally.
