Owner of dealership took car I had deposit on
I put a deposit on a 2003 CL55 when I heard of the new supercharged engine coming out. I was the first one on the list. Well I just went to the dealership and my sales guy told me that the first CL55 that they get the owner has decided to take, and that he is also taking the first SL55 and G55. He lets all his friends and family have first shot at everything, and they take all the cars that they can get. I am so pissed. Now he cant tell me when I will get my car. My sales guys exact words were "Its his football stadium and he's got the ball." I am so tempted to take my deposit back, and just buy something else. To me this is a good way to **** off alot of customers. Well now that I have vented......... UNTIL NEXT TIME.

the owner of the dealership in charlotte gets everything too, we just got our first SL55, and yeah its his, first CLK55 is already his, essentially every 1st AMG car is his, it gets old when the guy is an ***, i would be able to accept it much more if he was a nice guy..........im sorry to hear that though, i can understand your anger, but i wouldnt sacrifice the car that you want because of the owner, get what you want even though it means giving him money.....unless you want to spend that money on the new Bentley GT Coupe....now theres a good idea

I think that I am going to take my deposit back and get that Bentley GT, just for spite. And I am going to let other customers know how the STEALERSHIP is treating it customers. Its really bad when you purchase 1 new car every year there and get treated like this. STILL ANGRY!!!

this is a common situatuion. i am first with the local dealer. i was told the first one was specked by the dealer for a customer that buys a lot of cars each year. i will get the next dealer car if it part of his regular allotment. whatever that means. the good news was there will be no markup if i get the car.
