The CL Creak
Does yours do it when you get in the car?
I think sooner or later every CL gets this disease.
Sounds like my old 57 Chevy needing a lube job.
What is it ? The ball joints. Mine only does it when its hot and dry.
You get in it and you hear the "Creak". Sometimes you can hear it at low speed when you go over a speed bump. Very annoying for such an expensive car. My girlfriend gives me loads of crap about it too.
I have taken mine to the dealer a couple times. Its amazing how the creak will go away soon as its at the dealer. My SA at the dealer smiles when I tell him about it. Common problem. Since I got my SL55 and dont drive the CL on the weekends it seems the creak has gone away. But I bet this summer it
comes back again. Replace the balljoints. That will fix the "Creak"

Hey TY for the feedback the car has been at the dealership for 4 days and they cant seem to duplicate the "creaking" LOL. I figured it was the balljoints. Have you had yours replaced?
