Extended warranty on a '03 CL55 help?

Extended warranty on a '03 CL55 help?
'03 CL55 w/23K miles, still under fact. warranty till end of April '07, but I called 5 different Mercedes Dealers in the Chicago area and received 5 different quotes, 3/36 ranging from $1940-$3500. None of them are through Mercedes but (Allstate,Toyota,Daimler/Chrysler) some claiming bumper to bumper and others that there is no such thing. Any one in the Chicago area with same experience or suggestion.

It is the Diamler/Chrysler warranty, check with your local MB dealer for coverage although they will be clueless since this is not a MB CPO warranty. Add 600.00 bucks to the online quote for a AMG, I believe a 7yr/85K mile warranty is around 2,500.00 with a low deductible, ofcourse that is good for all 2003 to present under 45K miles. I just helped my father out with this on his 03' CPO SL55 that is leaving warranty as of 7/07...He only has 21K miles and was not ready to sell the car due to warranty issues.
