1/4 Mile Advice
I just ran my '03 CL55 yesterday in the Wisconsin Drag strip with the best time of 13.1 at 108.31mph on street tires and aprox. 60F. I have seen some other stock CL's run in the mid or lower 12s. What is the best way to launch? I tried with manual shift, with TC off, revving just to aprox.2k RPM, no burnouts and the tires did not seem to slip.

I had similar results my first time out.
Then I found out that my IC pump was a problem.
Have you had it replaced? If not, I bet that replacing it would get you 3 to 4 mph.
My launch is TC off, roll into the gas, don't just nail it.
My best is 12.1, 116 trap and 1.8 60'.
Oh wait, I have an ASP pulley too. That's the difference between 12.6 or so and 12.1.
Then I found out that my IC pump was a problem.

It's a larger diameter pulley on the crank which makes your sc spin faster and gives you more power. It's a $1k part plus 200 or 300 in labor. Best value mod available on a $ to hp ratio for 55's.
