V1 Hard Wire for the CL.....
My buddy Stuart hardwired my V1 into the CL the other day. I didnt get pics as we went along, but I can tell it is very very easy to do. You tap power and ground on the side of the passenger side dashboard, there is a panel that pops off, remove the panel to access a small fuse block. I believe the first fuse was powered only when the ignition is on, and we used the ground of the fuse block for ground.
The power cord runs up the pillar, the pillar is easily removed by popping off the plastic cover and removing the nut there.
you dont need to take the headliner down, you should be able to feed the power cord thru by just pulling down on the front edge where it meets the windshhield. Pop ur V1 on your visor or suction mount on either side of your rearview mirror and ur done!!! Thanks again Stuart u did a great job for my lasy azzz.
