IC Pump for CL55

IC Pump for CL55
After a search of the forum I've decided my supercharger cutting out after "spirited" driving must be related to my IC pump. I've read about an IC pump upgrade, but don't know if this means an after market product or will a new OEM Bosch pump from the dealer solve the problem? Any insights and/or part numbers would be appreciated.

dlb: Just do search under "IC pump" on E55 forum and you will get a lot of information.
In summary, you can go with Bosch pump that is used on Ford SC cars or you can go with evosport cooling upgrade that comes with bigger pump and additional heat exchanger.

Good first post, you searched for your solution and found it.
I replaced mine with the OEM and it's worked great for 6 months ... but we just had our first 100 degree day today.
Replacing with an after market pump is probably a longer term solution.

IC Issues
I'm considering buying an '05 CL65 and wonder if the IC problem is inevitable or just isolated to a few cars. How would I know if I have the problem and is it easily fixed under MB Warranty?
Is this car problem plagued or is it a reliable beast?

At this time I have seen Bosch pumps fail on all AMG forced induction cars - 32s, 55s and 65s.
Even new revised pumps have failed.
I am looking into making a kit to replace them with higher flowing and more reliable Johnson pumps.
