Looking to buy 20" wheels for my 2005 CL65.

Hi,
I'm looking to buy 20" wheels for my CL65. Anyone who may have a set please contact me. I obviously need them the appropriate offset to clear the large CL65 calipers. I prefer 20 x 8.5 in the front and 20 x 10 in the rear. Send me and e-mail or PM if you are selling your wheels or know of a good set.

Also, do any of you know if Vossen or Mandras wheels will clear the brakes for the CL65?

Thanks in advance.

Larry

CL500 and ML55
Ask the dealers- website does not list CL65 only 55.

http://www.buywheelstoday.com/info/?id=38

There is an 800 number on the website.
Hope this helps!

Sure. Why not. To me there is no reason to get extremely expensive 3 piece wheels. I've had cars with after-market one piece cast wheels in the past with no regrets. I just want a wheel that looks nice. I don't take my car to the track and believe me the weight will be no different then the stock wheels. Obviously if I could get a good deal on used 3 piece forged wheels I would consider it.

What do you guys think of these wheels? I will probably get the F-5's. Click on the picture for a larger view. You can get a Mercedes center cap also. I appreciate all opinions. Thanks.

check out the vip modular web site. If you like any of the styles you see, I believe Sonic MS has a set of VR02's and VR04's IN STOCK for your application.

I appreciate the offer but it is my opinion that the Lowenhart LDR's are heavy and very unattractive. No offense and thank you anyway.

James @ creative (earlier post)

Is without a doubt your clear source for wheels for your car. Ive been dealing with him for a while and trust me, no one will take care of us forum members as he does. He is the ONLY guy around who discounts HRE wheels. That in itself should make it clear that he is the most economical choice in terms of accessorizing your car. Whether you go with HRE or not talk to him as he deal with all the high end brands.

If he doesnt have a style you like and you can wait, Ill have a set of OEM AMG 20's, the updated ones from the performance package cars for sale as new take offs if the offsets are correct from W215 to W216. These wheels are a $7k option over the regular CL63's. Dual five spoke with a titanium finish and an "AMG" plaque on the lip. These wheels are by far the best OEM wheel Mercedes makes and are highly desireable.

If you want after market, call James, and you dont have to mention my name, this is an endorsement I make from the heart.

Appreciate it Jason!! I've decided to actually get nice forged wheels after debating should I get cheaper cast wheels. How could I with such a nice car. I live near G-Roads, a stand alone performance wheel and tire store that seems to give great service and fair prices. I may go to them just because it is local and their prices seem about the same as everyone else's who wants to ship me wheels. If I don't go to them then I'll give your guy a call. I am playing with the idea of the 360 forged wheels that are being advertised on the forums here. They are local for me and seem like very nice light wheels. Anyway thanks again. You are always very helpful and you seem like a real nice guy.

Thanks for the info. I've heard nothing but good things about James also. I really was trying to avoid getting wheels shipped to me. I'm the kind of guy who just wants to go to a place and say please give me these wheels and put them on. I need a place to take off my tire pressure sensors and put them on the new wheels so I may as well get the wheels from that place. I've checked prices and it doesn't appear that I would even save money if I bought wheels from another place and have them shipped. Maybe a little money but nothing significant. Thanks for the info and the offer of your future wheels. I really want light forged 2 or 3 piece wheels. Good luck and I can't what to check out your ride.

I have a set with your exact fitment coming in early next week, if you want them call me so you can tell me what center and lip finish you'd like.
