Ferrari's new FXX "Evo" Edition, uprated again & better in every way to normal FXX
The Ferrari Enzo-based FXX was the best Ferrari so far, but now Ferrari has taken it to another level again with the next evolution of the FXX, it's called the FXX Evo. More power (now up 48hp to a total of 860HP), better brakes that last twice as long as the carbon ceramics on the already astonishing FXX, gearchange time down to 60 milliseconds like the 430 Scuderia (Let's hope AMG can engineer a dual-clutch trans that will change gears this fast), new rear diffuser and revised active front spoiler control system that increases downforce by 25 per cent more than the normal FXX, new telemetry equipment, more durable tires, and it now revs 1,000 rpm higher, now all the way to 9500rpm 
(about $300,000 for these upgrades to the "normal" FXX) This for sure is the ultimate factory Ferrari so far, atleast until the next Enzo comes out in about 4 or 5 years, which supposedly will be so fast it'll make even an Enzo FXX look like a toyota carolla (j/k, but it will be thoroughly superior to every other Ferrari, even this Evo FXX).
Anybody out there have any predictions of who would lap the Nurburgring faster ... this or the all-new Pagani Zonda R coming out very soon?

I'm picking the Ferrari because it's better looking. In addition, Pagani is a one off but Ferrari's are something that everyone can aspire to drive. (Well maybe not everyone.)

Very nice thread and thanks for the pictures. This FXX Enzo looks really impressive I think this will pretty much be the fastest car in the world or at least match the Bugatti Veyron.
I wonder if it can take down the Bugatti Veyron with 1000 hp Quad Turbo (which by the way I heard they are making an upgrade version to 1200 hp)

Remember......the FXX and its derivitives are not road legal. They are just track day toys, so it is possible to employ alot of technology that would not be practical on a road legal car that has to be homolgated for the real world.
Nor does the FXX actually have any racing series that it is legal for, other than the ultimate, "I love me series"......otherwise known as the parade events designed for the FXX by the factory to make their owners 'feel' like they are part of a development team. The Maserati MC12 actually has won in FIA GT racing, so it really has a better pedigree......but no prancing horsey!

FXX Evo probably weighs half of a Veyron, so most likely faster
The FXX Evo weighs not even half of what a Veyron weighs probably, so it should be faster. Now, when Bugatti rolls out an even faster Veyron, all bets are off. Bugatti should come out with a CSL version of the Veyron, really mean and lean ... let's see, drop the weght from 4000 lbs to 2500, up the power to 1500 HP, then we'd have a true rocket ship for the road. 0 to 60 in 1.5 seconds? who knows ....
Now, what if a crazy owner of the FXX Evo, after the trial period and Ferrari doesn't need it anymore, decides to put a mean twin-turbo setup on it? How would a 1200 or 1400 HP FXX Evo do?

Now isn't it a Vowel SOUND, rather than a Vowel itself that determines the proper article to use?
