Carbon Fiber Interior

I saw this CL65 on ebay. I personally don't like all the mod's....except for the carbon fiber interior. I think it looks great...OEM quality finish. The seller claims that the steering wheel and interior kit cost $12K...is this correct??? Does anyone know of a high quality kit that is a little more economical?

I saw it too...could be true I have seen some CF interior trims go up to ridiculous prices, don't know if I would spend the money on that. I would rather have the stock looking interior.

In terms of the price of that car or buy it now price...wow 99K, that is a lot, don't know if he will get it, it's all cosmetics.

I agree...the price is way too high. Anyone who wants a modified CL65 would buy one with less mileage and do the car exactly how they want it. They did take some nice pic's though....

Tom,

It's definitely possible to get a carbon interior kit for much much less. We've been wrapping BMW and Porsche kits for the past 3 years with exceptional results.

Please see the below images and feel free to contact me with any quesitons you may have.

For $12K, you could simply drive your CL to your local dealer and have him switch the trim with the original 030 Performance Package Trim....

I was also wondering about the interior of that 65 but 12k is way out of my ball park for interior trim. What would you charge to replicate the pieces shown on the 65 auction on eBay?

Aaron:

I wasn't sure if you responded directly to Alex...I would also be curious as to your pricing.

can you facotry match any piece I send in. Will it be a perfect, undetectable factory match?

The second one is an 06 with much less mileage on it and a lower price. Why pay more for an older car, with MUCH higher miles? You've already decided you do not like some of the mods. Could get a newer 65, and upgrade only the things you want. If you dont like the lorinser fender, you can easily buy two new ones from MB.

iguess:

Are you talkin' to me?!?!?....are you talkin' me?!?!? (sorry couldn't help myself)

There are plenty of better priced CL65's...ones without Lorsiner mods and lemon law buy-backs. I was using that other car as an example of the carbin fiber interior which I really really like.

whoops thought you were looking for a car. didnt notice the first one was lemon lawed. anyway, good luck with your search. 12k......sounds like a lot for carbon fiber detailing (might be the right pricing, but still sounds like a lot to spend)

Wow...it seems they re-listed at a much better price. The carbon Fiber and Renntech alone are realistically worth $15K alone.
