The rims are alright.

But my honest opinion is that the stock AMG wheels look classier and more sporty.

Yours look too "flossy".

These wheels below look much nicer:

Cool

No they are not HRE, they are custom rims from Lucent. They will make them exactlyto your spec. So i told them to make it exactly like hre haha. Its cheaper and from my experience they are all rims anyway. The centre cap are HRE from my s class. Currently being repaired after an accident involving drunk driving( trying to forget). I will definitely post more pics after I my other mods arrived. Waiting for cf diffuser, Brabus boot lid and getting it lowered a bit more. Thanks for your comments. I ll post more pics of the s class after the rims arrived. its HRE 943. Btw do you guys really think the rims looked flossy ??? I was gonna get it black at first but decided to go against it.

that was only one opinion; forget about it. I can barely see the rims, so bring out the better quality pics when you get a chance.

True. One opinion on this board.

I'm just the more conservative non-modding type and have never been a fan of anything chrome.

I'm not really into doing non-OEM parts so that's why. (Brabus wheels + Mercs being an exception)

I think non-OEM modding tends to look more 'boy-racer' but then again, that's my opinion.

Don't mind me though.

I have respect for those that go the distance and try something new. It's your car, do what feels right.

Wheels on the CL look clean and not too flossy. But I agree with Woodhill that you can't go wrong with AMG wheels or Brabus wheels and Benz.

Beautiful beautiful cars.

Especially the white S class.

I swear mercedes benz styling is going nicer and nicer every new generation.

Bmw seems like its going down the drain.

I can say the M series are awesome cars but really though the looks kinds of turn me off.

My friend has an M6 and he traded in for a CL63. He says the new CL looks hot. And another one traded his bentley for a CL too.

Anyways nice cars enjoy them drive them with care.

to the contrary, i couldnt agree with you more abt adding non oem stuff. Which is why I chose this rims coz it resembles the 030 packaga and only 1 inch bigger in size than the standard. I also chose this rims instead of brabus is beacuse of the lips on the rims are much more visible and in turn for me at least i think it will accentuate the lines of the car when i lower it more. (I almost bought a white cl63 with 21 brabus) My other mods are lowering the car, OEM cf diffuser, Tint,Brabus boot lid and resonator delete

I'd prefer the stock AMG wheels. They look agressive and classy. Also, they seem to match (in shape and size) and flow well with the chrome trims on CL.

I agree with your comment on the wheels but the first thing I would have done had I decided on a CL63 instead of the M5 is remove the old man chrome that adorns the window line and lower grille.

Nice cars but out of curiosity, what made you plump for two cars that are mechanically identical?

I was asking myself that same question and came to the conclusion that the S must have the 4Matic for the less than optimal driving conditions. And great stable, looks fantastic!

Can't get AMG's with 4-Matic at this point in time, as 65-engine owners will confirm to their chagrin.
