Potential CL55 Purchase... Advice Needed!
I found a 2003 CL 55 with 21,000 miles going for 42K. I have not done any negotiations yet, but I have a question regarding a warranty.
The car is out of MB warranty, and is at a Saturn dealer. They offer a 90 day warranty, but that is it. My local MB dealer said I can pay $4500 for 36 months for a warranty from AUL, an aftermarket warranty company.
I am going to see if the Supercharger clutch has been updated, and see if there has been any Airmatic work done, but with that low of miles should I pay the 4500?
I only put about 4000 miles on my car a year
The car is a one owner lease from Texas.

The price sounds a bit high, the car is 5 years old, regardless of the mileage. However, compared to the original sticker, it's a deal.
Search this forum on after market warranties and you'll come up with options. AUL? Never heard of them and some warranty companies have a shady rep.
