CLS63'S E63'S M5'S M6'S and Maserati's....and these cars are newer body styles and more trendy.....
most recent CL65'S ...
26k car went for $56k...keyless and very clean
15k car with keyless $66k....almost bought it...but more then i wanted to spend....i am looking for second CL
54k mile car $49k
oh and a 19k mile flint grey car...$60k
they will continue to drop.....and most 05's are going to be out of warranty soon.....CL63'S will be under $100k in a few months guaranteed ...CL600'S
2007'S are now under $100k and so are the s600's...
Considering the new CTS-V with 580hp and the new GTR coming out... both of those cars will be priced in the low $70's .... making the CL65 look dated by most count and not too much for value anymore.....

not interested in lemon law, salvage title, accident car.. I NEED a clean, no stories unit. With under 30k miles/ Prefer White or Silver, would take a black car for the right number $$.

The one (2005) at Encino Sold. Some lucky buyer bought it. According to Juicee it is a super clean car. They dropped it to 71k, I guess that was a good price.
I got nothing but time....

No way a dealer paid in the 80's for a CL65 anytime in the last 6 months.. When appraising trades. These guys simply go to their computer, and look at auction results, and add deduction in for an additionla 30-60 days depreciation (lot time). Take all the Kelly blue books,NADA books, etc and throw them out. They mean ZERO... Galves is the only "true" wholesale book. And even that isnt completely accurate. Infact, Galves is usually TOO low.
My dealer told me "thats the longest period of time, we want to own this car for"(60 days). If its not sold, it goes to manheim.. So our trade-in appraisal is based on that scenario..
someone would probably be offered high $50's-low $60's for a CLEAN under 30k miles, CL65 right now. Assuming no paintwork, and clear title..
The MB dealer near me, goes over the entire car with a paintmeter, before they give a number on the trade.. The guy told me, on a car like a CL65, he will deduct 10% for something as minor as a fender repaint. Even if it was a key-scratch or something minor.
Delaers are in to make as much money as they can... When you are "buying" your car.. what they have is "gold" and can not be duplicated on Ebay,autotrader,etc.. When you are trading in your car in. What "you" have can be bought at auction for ridiculous pricing.. Its a joke..

You enjoy the car, thats all that counts.. The CL65 is an amazing machine.. I have to believe they will get to a point, where depreciation will slow down GREATLY.. Even at todays pricing. Im very interested in picking one up.. I do like having 4 doors in my E55 though..
