Your worst nightmare...
Advice on AVUS AF-MO2 rims

I have decided to sell my avus rims, here are some pictures of them on my car. Do you think 18's would look good on my CL. I am not really the 20's type of guy only because of the rough roads here in NY.

Anybody has pictures of their CL slammed on 18's...thanks.

The 18" wheels will not clear the 15.4" brakes in the front of your CL65. 18" wheels will only clear the rears. You have to go 19" at a minimum...and I am not sure all 19" wheels will clear.

What about with some nice spacers?. I am droping 18's Kosei with BFGs at the rear. 275/35 R 18's on Kosei 18 x 9 5-100/112 ET38 Kosei with rings of 66.56 mm, and the lugs are BC14 x 1.5

My personal feeling is that a pretty big coupe like the CL needs at least a 19" wheel to help balance the overall proportion of the car. I wouldn't mess around with spacers to put an 18" wheel on the front...I think you can find a light 19" wheel instead.

I see. I will definitely do the reasearch for some nice 19's then and keep the 18's for the strip once in a blue. Thanks Tom for your input. As always it is well appreciated.

Tom is right on the spot especially for a heavy car light that, plus it will take the aggressive look away from the CL.
