How to tell if ECU has software upgrade?
A technical question...

I am the third owner of my '03 CL55. I noticed that in the documentation I got with the vehicle the first owner had the Evosport ECU upgrade. I am wondering, how can I tell if the vehicle still has the ECU upgrade from Evosport or if the dealer has managed to reflash it to stock by some means...?

Is there a relatively simple way to read the data via OBD II connection and determine what's what?

See if the car goes past 160. If it does, then it is still there. Chances are it is not though, because the dealer more than likely has reflashed it since

Yea I tried that allready ) Does not go past 160mph!
