Problem doing star diagnostic drop to 03 CL55

Problem doing star diagnostic drop to 03 CL55
Couldn't believe it! The star diagnostic system wasn't able to successfully store the settings to my ECU and the drop wasn't able to be done. Can anyone please help me!? The guy who did this for me has done it to plenty of other Benz's but mine just didn't want to accept the new values that were entered. I was able to see what it would have looked like but of course it wasn't able to stay that way so now I'm really pissed. I got to see it, but I couldn't get it. There has to be a way. Are there any techs on the forum who may have some insight? The model is an 03 W215 AMG. It just doesn't make sense that everyone else's car can be dropped like this but mine wouldn't. There has to be a way!!
