I bought my 05' SL600 w/100k DC warranty, it's MORE than paid for itself in the 1st 6mo of ownership, had $4000+ in repairs totally covered (fun part I modded the stock exhaust FULL 3" cat-back straight pipes NO mufflers w/quad tips, the techs noticed it right off the bat, but repairs were O.K.'d)

The friggin' SA asked me how I got a 63 AMG motor in the older 05' due to the sound of the exhaust work, they had a new E63 right next to my SL @ pick-up time, sound was very close

I've been following the CL65s for a while now and I think the buyers are back given the strong bid amount so far. There are some seriously low mileage 65s that are selling for not much more than this bid! That said, I wouldn't sell it yet. I'd wait until Spring as buyers wake up to the great deal these cars are.I'm waiting for them to go into the $20s before I move on one but that will probably be late '09.

Just throwing this out there, but is there a market for the CL65 internationally? I would think there is with such small production numbers. A client of mine owns a luxury car exporting company that sends tons of "cheap" because of the economy luxury models to a base in Lithuania where he then sells to the Russians, middle east, etc. He makes an absolute killing doing this, but I wasn't sure if this way of selling is available to a single seller.

Anything goes as long as you cover your own transportation. I have heard of many doing this...
