Do you run 91 octane on the CL65?

I have heard this too, assuming stock to stock. I can't really see that, but its been claimed by many. Also, I would imagine that the M6 might also have something to gain with moving up to the 93 or even 100, being a very high compression engine, if not as much as the 65. Correct me if I'm wrong?

M6 would probably benefit also. However, it could be dramatically different if the modded 65ECU senses the difference and allows increased boost... a N/A engine isn't going to match that type of increase by advancing the timing a bit.

Def. true, turbo engines always have the most to gain.

Still looking...
Both cars would benefit from higher octane.

Also the 295 PS2 is also almost an inch shorter in diameter, which might explain the speedo error and those mods are pretty minor (I have an M5) and don't generate much WHP-maybe no more than 10-15 actually (for instance often the pulley's don't show anything on certain dynos, and when they do, it's usually around 5 hp-they do work though).

It would have been nice to see another run with the RPI ram air kit and BMC filters (maybe another 10-15 whp) and really helps above 70+mph.

I know your CL would still win, but I think the beating would have been much less

Absolutely amazing runs though
