2003 CL55 door handle

2003 CL55 door handle
New to forum, and need some help please. My drivers door handle will not open the door, unlocks like it is supposed to, and works from the inside, help, I look stupid unlocking from the passenger door.
and a bummer.... can't really help you much.... sounds like something i would definitely take into MB or someone to look at tho.

could be some type of problem with the soft close feature. I think it uses some type of vaccum to suck the door shut. I checked out this post because I remember not after 2 days of having my car, I brought it to a good buddy's house who managed to pull the door handle on the passenger side (which was locked) and took the chrome trim right off the top of the handle! I was so pissed I couldn't believe he had already fkd up my new car! I'm sorry your having trouble though, but for this 1, I'd vist the stealer.

I just replaced my drivers side handle and the hardest part was sourcing the handle and the lock cylinder. Remember CL trim is somewhat unique and after finding a Black handle we found that the lock cylinder is no longer serviced in colored finishes you must have it painted. 300$ parts 100 labor 75 paint.

If so inclined the only way to find out whats goin on is to take off the door panel and have a look. Could be as simple as a plastic elbow connector in the linkage. Wont know till the panel is off though.
