New CL65's

08s with < 10k wholesale for 125k. i've seen a few inter-dealer transactions and this is the number.
i would say that early summer they will drop below 100k retail. they will follow closely the previous model depreciation curve where 16-24 month cars were at 50-60%. off msrp.

06 CLS55 AMG & 08 CL65 Mystic White
You can by a new 08 CL65 for the asking price of 156K. That puts a used one in the 125K ball park.
I'm on the hunt for this also. Just letting time buy me a discount.

Sort of off topic but... saw a designo Black/Porcelain CL65 at Beverly Hills MB a couple days ago... Amazing vehicle, but it IS pretty funny how none of them end up selling for list price in the end...

You actually did very well...since I purchased my CL65 almost 12 months ago, it probably has realistically dropped $25K in value in this economy. My 2003 RS6 lost $21K in 1 year when I traded it in in late 2006. I tend to put alot of mileage on my cars...so I really am not complaining. I enjoy driving...so it is the price I am willing to pay for everyday entertainment.

And Im like you, I dont care so much about the price as long as the reward is relevant- The 65 gave me much to smile about.

You guys think your prices are high, try $US310K plus for a new CL65 in Australia, after 24 months it will depreciate to about $US150K. Government just taxes the hell out of us on imported cars.
